This event is a precursor to Game4Good’s Game Your Future Conference and is designed to immerse high school and college students in the dynamic gaming industry as well as provide future gaming developers the chance to interact with current industry professionals. Students, and teachers, will gain valuable technical skills and insights into diverse career pathways through hands-on workshops and curated activities.

Event Description
Youth Engagement Day provides cross-curricular sessions to strengthen your CTE programs and broaden student horizons. This event directly showcases diverse career pathways in gaming and technology, seamlessly integrating with various academic subjects to prepare your students for real-world success in emerging industries.
Career Exploration: Students will explore a wide range of careers within the gaming industry, including game design, animation, esports, content creation, and game development.
Technical Skills Development: Interactive workshops will allow students to gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and software, such as Unity and Unreal Engine 5.
Workplace Readiness Skills: With workshops and activities facilitated by industry professionals themselves, students can start to develop technical and soft skills that are directly applicable.
Industry Connections: Students will have the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, ask questions, and learn about the skills and qualifications that the industry is currently looking for.
