Melanie Stegman, Ph.D. , a biochemist-turned game developer, who moderated a panel on the future of games in education and workforce training. She shared that teaching and training games are a major opportunity for indie developers — from corporate training to consumer learning apps. Melanie also highlighted her platform, Science Games Center, which features learning games across science, economics, and social studies.
