Game4Good Announces Complimentary Conference Tickets for Recently Laid-Off Video Game Industry Workers

Game Your Future Conference (Nov. 14–16, 2025 | Baltimore Convention Center) to welcome displaced game professionals with free admission and career support resources.

Baltimore, MD — August 25, 2025 — Game4Good, the social-impact esports organization behind the Game Your Future Conference, today announced a limited pool of complimentary conference tickets for video game industry professionals recently affected by layoffs. The three-day conference — taking place November 14–16, 2025, at the Baltimore Convention Center — combines industry panels, hands-on workshops, a Game Jam, an esports tournament, and networking opportunities designed to connect talent with employers, mentors, and training resources.

“Many skilled professionals have been impacted by recent industry contractions,” said Dexter Carr Jr., Founder & CEO of Game4Good. “We want Baltimore and the Game Your Future Conference to be a place of reconnection and opportunity. Offering complimentary access is one small way we can support this community, help attendees network with hiring managers, and shine a spotlight on new pathways into careers in gaming, related tech industries, education, and entrepreneurship.”

  • What: 100 Complimentary tickets for recently laid-off video game industry workers (limited availability).
  • When: November 14–16, 2025.
  • Where: Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, MD.
  • Includes: Full conference access (panels, workshops, exhibition hall), select networking events, and entrance into our gaming tournaments.
  • How to request a comp ticket: Laid-off professionals should email contact@game4good.gg with the subject line “Comp Ticket Request – Laid-Off Industry Worker”, include a brief note (100 words max) about their background, and attach supporting documentation (e.g., layoff notice or HR email). Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis; applicants will be notified as requests are sent in with a deadline of October 31, 2025 (10/31/2025].
  • Priority/verification: To ensure the program serves those most in need, requests will be prioritized by date received and role fit for targeted career sessions. Documentation is required.

Game4Good is working with BWTech, IGDA, Visit Baltimore, and other industry partners to help facilitate conversations that lead and build an ecosystem that effectively, efficiently, and equitably integrates digital and virtual real estate to improve and expand business practices by introducing elements of the gaming industry and culture as a vehicle of activation. At the same time, the value of gaming beyond entertainment will be demonstrated by aligning economic development strategies, industries, and sectors, leveraging video games as the vehicle throughout the conference.
