What is the Game Your Future Conference?
It’s a professional conference designed for game developers (veteran and early-career) focusing on all aspects of game creation, career growth, and the industry’s future, aiming to bridge gaming with education and career opportunities.
When and where does the conference take place?
The Game Your Future Conference 2025 will be held from November 14 to November 16, at The Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. The conference is split into two types of events. The first event is our Youth Engagement Day for high school and college level students as well as teachers who are interested in careers in the gaming industry or are looking for new education opportunities in gaming. On Friday evening we kick off our 2 day professional conference with a Welcome Mixer at The Parkway Theater. The second event is a 2 day professional on Saturday and Sunday November 15th and 16th. The professional conference provides current and interested gaming and tech professionals with upskilling and networking opportunities through talks and workshops. You can also play new indie games in our Indie Game Showcase and stop by our Versus Zone and enter a tournament or participate in some free play.
Who should attend the Game Your Future Conference?
This conference is crafted for both veteran and early-career game developers, aspiring entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, security professionals, educators, and anyone eager to gain insights into the creative, technical, and business aspects of the gaming industry.
What content will be covered?
The 2025 theme is “Game Development.” You’ll find industry panels, hands-on workshops covering design, coding, art, and more, as well as esports tournaments and networking. We explore everything from indie vs. AAA games to career development and industry trends.
How do I register for the conference? Are there different pass options?
You can register directly on our website by purchasing a ticket. We offer a variety of ways to enjoy the events, including General Admission, VIP, and College Student tickets. If you’re purchasing a college student ticket, you’ll need to bring a valid student ID when picking up your pass at the event. Will there be networking events or mixers, and how do I register?
Yes, the conference includes dedicated networking opportunities and mixers. Access to these events is included with your conference pass.
What is Youth Engagement Day, and how do schools register?
Youth Engagement Day is an exciting pre-conference event for school groups (students and teachers) featuring game development workshops and STEM career exploration. It’s free for your school group when the accompanying teachers are registered for the main Game Your Future Conference. Registration details are on the dedicated Youth Engagement Day page.
